You must be on a sandwich degree and be taking the industrial placement as a recognised sandwich year to be eligible
Recruitment takes place annually in Autumn, with start dates July-September
Training and development
An Industrial placement at Quotient will offer you the opportunity to develop the skills you have learnt at university in a practical environment, as well as learning several new ones.
Through their day to day role and interactions a student's personal skill base will be developed throughout their placement year. These include communication, planning and organising, problem solving, teamwork, confidence and networking skills.
Schools & Work Experience
Quotient have a number of partnerships with local schools and colleges and are happy to assist with work experience placements for school students each year at our sites across the UK.
We regularly host educational visits to our laboratories and often are invited to present to students of various ages on the work carried out at Quotient.
At our Snail Wood Community Woodland based at the Fordham site, local primary school children take part in our ‘Seed to tree’ workshops which enable them to learn about the natural environment as well gaining hands-on experience by taking part in planting sessions within the wood.
University students should visit the Students and Graduates section of this site for information on industrial and summer placements.
