Radiosynthesis
The pre-clinical radiosynthesis group can carry out radiolabelling using C-14, H-3, S-35, I-125, I-131 and P-33 and the majority of custom synthesis projects involve the production of C-14 labelled test compounds.
Quotient Bioreseach uses barium [14C]carbonate, potassium [14C]cyanide and tritium gas as radiosynthesis precursors. Radiolabelled small molecules are prepared as required in-house and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place for the synthesis of [U-14C]benzene, [U-14C]aniline, [U-14C]phenol, [phenyl-U-14C]toluene, [methyl-14C]toluene, [14C]methanol, [14C]formaldehyde, [14C]methyl iodide and [14C]methyl bromide and [14C]acetic acid (all labelled forms).
Release analysis is carried out in our GMP-compliant analytical laboratory and a full CoA/Compound Data Sheet is provided. Radiosynthesis reports can be provided if requested.
We offer a storage, analysis, re-purification and shipping service for radiosynthesis customers.
